MALLARD® 4-PIECE VALVES

The premier valve of the injection molding
industry, MALLARD® 4-piece valves are with-
out a doubt the most versatile product of it's
type in the industry today.  Utilizing a "building
block" design concept, MALLARD® valves
provide numerous advantages for any
processing need, including:

All valve designs allow use of the same retainer and rear seat, and incorporate
a replaceable front seat and check ring concept.  That saves you money, and
allows for easy custo

Standard Sliding Ring Valves    The standard MALLARD® valve is
made of high-speed abrasion resistant powdered metal materials and has a
replaceable heat treated stainless steel retainer for maximum toughness
and corrosion resistance.

Carbide-Faced Valves    For extreme processing conditions, we offer MALLARD® valves that are manufactured utilizing carbide-faced components.  These tough valves carry the industry's only THREE-YEAR WEAR-THROUGH GUARANTEE on all carbide-faced surfaces.

Stainless Steel Valves    MALLARD® valves can be manufactured utilizing highly corrosion resistant CPM® S90V materials for extra protection in extreme conditions such as molding PVC.

Spinner™ Valves    The Spinner™ valve is a direct replacement for a standard ball check valve, and features a 4-piece interlocking design.  Perfect for applications using non-filled resins, fast injection cycles & high speed screw rotation, the Spinner™ valve provides the latest technology for reliable performance.  When processing fluoropolymer applications, we recommend the Spinner™ design manufactured from ultra corrosion resistant Inconnel and/or Hastelloy materials.  For optimum flexibility, all Spinner™ parts are interchangeable with MALLARD® 4-piece standard & carbide-faced valves.

Zpringlok® Valves    The MALLARD® Zpringlok® valve combines the benefits of positive check ring shut-off with the quality of the 4-piece interlocking valve.  The design features a stainless steel spring located in the check ring and dos not require screw movement to close the valve.  Recommended for high-speed non-filled low viscosity molding environments where shot consistency with conventional slider or locking-ring valves is a concern - such as LCP, LSR, and MuCell™ applications.  For optimum flexibility, all Zpringlok® parts are interchangeable with MALLARD® 4-piece standard & carbide-faced valves.
